Boo-Boo Buddy - Get Well Gift for Kids

Accidents happen. We all get hurt. It's the worse when it's one of the little ones though. Sending a heartfelt card is great, but kiddos (especially those too young to read) might not fully comprehend the gesture. Why not turn their unfortunate situation into one just a tad more tolerable with a little Boo-Boo Buddy to hug and some colorful flowers to brighten their sidetable.

You can get all of your supplies at most supermarkets for less than $15 (or use artificial flowers from the dollar store for even more savings!)

Stuffed Animal ($5)
Bandage ($3)
Mini Bouquet ($5)
Balloon ($1)
A cherished get well gift!

Seriously, it's that easy.

I wrapped the little monkey's arm (the same one our favorite little girl broke) but you could do the foot, the leg, around the tummy or head. When their cast is removed, or boo-boo healed, they can take the bandage off of their buddy as well!

The Johnson & Johnson Hurt Free Wrap is pretty soft and it sticks to itself which is why I recommend it. It's not like gauze or an ACE Bandage so you can use a little or a lot without any additional clips or tape which is convenient for first-aid and crafting purposes :) And, no this is NOT a sponsored post for J&J, I just used it a ton last year when I hurt my foot so I was able to just grab some out of our first aid drawer and realized that it was probably the best material for the job.

  1. When I was a kid and had a serious accident or something like that, I'd get a Barbie doll. Funnily enough, I ended up naming them after the accident / illness that I had had - for example, Measles Barbie had a pink dress with white polka dots. xo

  2. And according to my sister who placed the order, the process was easy and efficient, helpful and quite rapid in their order-to-delivery time frame - within a day! funeral flowers sydney

Feel free to share your thoughts or questions. You make my day!
